Community Partners

KPTS is proud to be an active member of the Wichita community. We're also actively involved in other communities around south central Kansas.

In June 2007, just one month after a deadly and devasting tornado destroyed the small town of Greensburg, KPTS organized a carnival for the kids featuring special guests from Sesame Street.

Each year, we are involved with events like KidsFest, Expoventure, Senior Expo and others. These events allow us to partner with other agencies such as The Sedgwick County Zoo, Music Theatre of Wichita, Museum of World Treasures, The Tallgrass Film Festival, Wichita State University, various public school districts and many others.

At KPTS, we believe involvment and partnerships are a key part of our mission to educate the community, engage and challenge minds, entertain Kansans and enrich society.
