KPTS works with KIDS! We at KPTS continually look for ways to get involved with the children of our community.

KPTS is a proud participant in PBS Kids Share A Story, an unprecedented children’s literacy campaign.

Literacy experts have long recognized the link between children’s exposure to language and their eventual reading success. But, many adults are unaware of the rewards of nourishing a child’s brain with words…or how easy it can be.

• A father can read a library book aloud.
• A teenage mother can sing a nursery rhyme while giving a bath.
• A grandmother can share a story based on personal memory.
