Jennifer Schmidt is your host for Ask Your Legislator. Each week Jennifer invites lawmakers from both parties to answer your email and phone calls. Jennifer Schmidt served as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives and the House Majority Leader and also served two consecutive fellowships at KU's Dole Institute of Politics. Jennifer has worked as an election night talking head for a network affiliate and speaks frequently to civic clubs and associations about public policy and politics. She is a graduate of Leadership Kansas, has been selected to travel with the American Council of Young Political Leaders, and served on the KU Law School’s Board of Governors.
