KPTS has great friends! The volunteer program at KPTS gives people in our community the opportunity to be a part of providing quality, educational and entertaining programming to south central Kansas. Last year, nearly 1,000 volunteers provided almost 5,000 hours of volunteer time. This translates to over $83,000 worth of donated help!
There are many ways that you can help KPTS fulfill its mission.
• Answer the phones during the KPTS pledge drives;
• Hand out informational material and talk with viewers during KPTS events;
• Assist with general clerical works at KPTS.
Training is provided in all of these areas. We have a lot of wonderful programs and special events planned for the next several months and we’d love to see you there! If you would like to join us in fulfilling our mission to enrich and educate the people of Kansas, please contact Karen Hager at the station (316) 838-3090 ext. 218 or email at khager@kpts.org.
Whether you are new to the KPTS family or have supported us by volunteering over the years, we want you to know how important you are in helping us fulfill our mission. KPTS has always been active in our community because of the help of dedicated people like you!
