PBS Kansas British Programs

PBS KANSAS is dedicated to bringing you these fun shows, but we depend on your support.

Death In Paradise

Mondays @ 8PM - A Detective Inspector is transferred from London to the Caribbean island of Saint-Marie to investigate and solve complex homicides.

Midsomer Murders

Thursdays @ 9PM - Set in the deceptively idyllic fictional English county of Midsomer, the suspenseful drama is based on the popular novels of Caroline Graham. Featuring an eccentric cast of characters, ubiquitous red herrings, and quaint countryside scenery. The long-running crime series recalls classic public television British mysteries of the past.

Shakespeare & Hathaway

Fridays @ 9PM - An oddball couple of private detectives named Luella Shakespeare and Frank Hathaway investigate crime in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Keeping Up Appearances

Saturdays @ 7PM - A snobbish housewife is determined to climb the social ladder, in spite of her family's working class connections.

As Time Goes By

Saturdays @ 7:30PM - The Korean War and a long lost letter separate the lives of young lovers Jean and Lionel, whose paths cross again by happenstance.

Doc Martin

Saturdays @ 8PM - Big news, on Oct. 23, we’re going back to the beginning. You can watch Doc Martin Season One, where we meet Dr. Martin Ellingham, a successful surgeon who moves from London to the quaint village of Portwenn.

Father Brown

Saturdays @ 9PM - A series inspired by the stories of GK Chesterton; a Catholic priest has a knack for solving mysteries in his English village.

My Family

Saturdays @ 10PM - Ben Harper a misanthropic dentist, has little time for most people, including his wife Susan and their children Nick, Janey, and Michael.

The Goes Wrong Show

Saturdays @ 10:30PM - A British comedy based on the award-winning play "The Play That Goes Wrong." The series stars the ensemble members of the Mischief Theatre company as they reprise their roles as members of the fictitious theatre company, "Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society," whose plays tend to go awry due to mistakes, accidents, and more.

Poirot

TBD - Hercule Poirot, a famous Belgian detective, who has an impeccable knack for getting embroiled in a mystery, solves crimes along with Captain Hastings and Scotland Yard Chief Inspector James Japp.
